Bromley go into the last game of the season still under the threat of relegation after they failed to convert a host of chances against already relegated Thurrock.
The Ravens started the game on the attack with Albert Jarrett the main threat down the left. Anthony Thomas headed wide, Ali Fuseini had an effort saved by Ross Kitteridge, Tutu Henriques headed over and Michael Malcolm missed a great chance when one on one.
Thurrock created some half chances later in the half, but Bromley had the majority of possession without making it count.
Heading into the half Thomas & Malcolm were both denied by Kitterigde to keep the scores tied at zero.
It was a similar story in the second half with Henriques, Fuseini and Malcolm going close before the home fans frustration further increased when Malcolm had a goal chalked off for offside.
Pierre Joseph-Dubois & Hakeem Araba were both denied by Kitteridge more than once, with Araba also firing off target several times when well placed.
Into the final minutes the visitors wasted as much time as possible to run the clock down and escaped one final scare when Jarrett just failed to direct his header past Kitteridge after good work by Dubois.
This game summed up Bromley’s performances at home all season failing to convert draws into wins which could cost them dear come next week.
